Tahra Reynolds

I am a UK medical graduate , graduating from Birmingham University in 1995. I was lucky to gain a wealth of experience in the UK working in a variety of hospital specialities for a few years before becoming a General Practitioner in 2001. I have worked both in urban inner city practices and semi rural areas enjoying the diversity of General Practice.
My interest in travel and the outdoors led my husband, daughter and myself to NZ in 2007.
We have lived on the beautiful kapiti coast since 2007 and were lucky to extend our family to 4 in 2010( daughter and kiwi son!) I have spent the past 14 years as a GP mostly working in kapiti enjoying being part of the community there. I am now looking forward to the experiences a GP in the Porirua region has to offer. I really enjoy getting to know my patients and helping to guide them through their health journeys.
I enjoy all aspects of General Practice but have particular interests in women’s health, family planning, general medicine and care of the elderly.
At weekends I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, walking, biking, skiing and exploring the great NZ outdoors.
