Dr Atul Dhabuwala – General Surgeon

MBBS, FRACS (Gen surgery)

Atul Dhawale is an experienced Consultant General Surgeon. He provides expert surgical care with focus on patient care and aiming for best possible outcome. Atul has extensive expertise across a broad range of procedures, including Bariatric, upper gastrointestinal, biliary, colorectal, thyroid, Pilonidal sinus and hernia surgery. He is particularly passionate about minimally invasive (laparoscopic) techniques.

He has served as a Surgical Training Supervisor and Examiner for New Zealand and Australian College of Surgeons in General Surgery for many years, reflecting his commitment to surgical excellence and education.

Atul holds a public hospital appointment at Hutt Hospital and consults at Boulcott Hospital and Hutt Hospital. He performs surgery at Boulcott, Hutt, and Wakefield Hospitals.
