Travel Clinic

ENSURING SAFE AND HEALTHY TRAVEL

The only authorised Yellow Fever Clinic covering the Mana/Kapiti area.

Are you planning a holiday or considering overseas travel?

Then you need to visit the travel clinic at Mana Medical Centre.

Our aim is to encourage and promote safe and healthy travel, so you are free to enjoy your overseas experience. Your health and safety are important to us, which is why we invest our time reviewing your travel plans and providing practical advice, so you have the knowledge to travel safely, and most importantly, remain healthy.

Our Travel clinic is an Authorised Yellow Fever centre, servicing the Mana/Kapiti area. We accept both registered and non-registered patients.  Dr Rini Chegudi and Dr Caroline Armstrong are our two Yellow fever authorised Travel Doctors

All our Travel Clinic staff hold post-graduate qualifications in Travel Medicine and use a range of internationally renowned travel medicine research sources to ensure the advice they provide is the most up to date available. Our clinic will provide you with a comprehensive assessment based on your individual travel needs and medical requirements. The majority of our Pre -Travel/immunisation consults are held with the nursing staff who  have education and training in Travel Medicine.

Please contact the clinic as early as possible, ideally at least four to six weeks prior to leaving New Zealand. This guarantees we can process your request, offer you an appointment and ensure that you have the time to receive any vaccinations as recommended.

Please download and complete the pre-travel form by clicking here or you can collect a travel pack from our reception staff.

Please complete a separate form for each person travelling and email it to travel@manamedical.co.nz or drop it back to reception. Once received, our staff will complete your pre-travel assessment (which may take up to 5 working days) and then contact you to arrange an appointment.

If, at any time you change your mind, change your itinerary, or receive your travel advice and vaccinations elsewhere PLEASE let us know as soon as possible by calling 04 2338019.
Please be aware that you may incur a small admin fee at this time.

Let’s work together to make sure you have a great journey.
